A Family Business with a Meaningful History
Visions Bookstore was founded in the late 1980s by Lila Stoberg's father, Steve Stoberg's grandfather, following a period of personal transformation through the teachings of A Course in Miracles and participation in a Mastermind group.
What began as a small bookstore focused on spiritual literature gradually evolved into a trusted resource for individuals seeking recovery, reflection, and personal growth.
Today, Visions Bookstore remains a family business, equally owned and operated by Steve and his mother, Lila Stoberg, continuing the family's commitment to providing a welcoming and supportive space.

The Visionaries Behind the Store
Visions Bookstore is a family business proudly operated by Steve Stoberg and his mother, Lila. Together, they continue a family tradition of serving the recovery and spiritual community with care, respect, knowledge, and understanding.
Lila Stoberg
Lila is a kind and welcoming presence at Visions Bookstore and someone who knows the business inside and out. Her warmth, knowledge, and genuine care for people are reflected in the way she serves every customer who walks through the door.
With an understanding of the store built through years of experience, Lila is always ready to listen, answer questions, and help customers find something meaningful. Her compassionate spirit is an important part of what makes Visions feel less like simply a bookstore and more like a place where people are welcomed and valued.
Steve Stoberg
Steve carries forward the family tradition of Visions Bookstore with a strong commitment to serving the recovery and spiritual community. He brings dedication, knowledge, and a personal understanding of the importance of having a welcoming place where people can find resources for recovery, reflection, and personal growth.
Working alongside his mother, Lila, Steve is committed to preserving the character of Visions while helping the store move forward for a new generation of customers. For Steve, Visions is more than a business—it is a family legacy and a place of connection, encouragement, and hope.
